Come Dance with Us!

It is our mission to provide a safe but spirited competition for all levels of dancers.  We have levels including Novice, Competitive, Professional, Adult (non-professional) and Special.  Please refer to our rules for specific descriptions.  We give bronze, silver, high silver, gold, high gold and platinum trophies along with cash awards to the winners.  

Our age divisions are Petite (ages 8 and under); Junior (ages 9-12); Teen (ages 13-16); Senior (ages 17-20); Adult (ages 21+).  For more specific details, please refer to our rules.  We recognize the teacher with the most winners and the studios with the most entries.  Then Encore Shining Star is awarded to the top score of the competition.  Our national showcase is held in Mason, OH near Kings Island.  All participants and their families receive discounts to the park as well as Beach Waterpark.  We have various other discounts and passes we will be giving out during the competition.  Due to the struggling ecoonmy, we have not raised the fees from 2009.  Our national showcase fees are the same as regionals.  We showcase our top five groups in an Encore Performance at nationals and this year we are including audience participation.  In addition to the judges’ choice the audience will be able to text their vote.   We also do an Encore Peformance for the top ten soloists in each age division.  The winners are crowned Miss/Mr. Encore Dance.  There is no additional entry fee for this.  This is, however, limited to dance numbers and does not include vocalists, gymnastics or novice entries.
